SportsGround.ca is a Canada-wide directory that helps communities discover and compare sports venues-stadiums, fields, courts, domes, and recreation parks-across all provinces and territories. Owners and municipalities can showcase facilities; players and organizers can find the right place to practice or host events.
Venue owners, facility managers, municipalities, school boards, and authorized representatives in Canada can submit listings for their grounds.
Use the “List Your Ground” option in the header. Create an owner account, complete the form with accurate details, and submit. We review and verify submissions before publishing to keep the directory trustworthy.
For stronger visibility, add:
- Official venue name, full civic address, and province/territory
- Supported sports (soccer, baseball, cricket, hockey, basketball, etc.)
- Surface & layout (turf type, field/court dimensions, lighting, seating)
- Amenities (parking, change rooms, accessibility features, concessions)
- High-resolution photos and a brief description
- Contact info and, if applicable, a booking or pricing link
Listings focus on venue details and availability. An events module may be introduced later. In the meantime, you can include an external link to your official event or registration page.
No. We don’t process reservations or payments. We’re a discovery and connection platform; venue operators manage pricing, schedules, and bookings directly.
Standard listings are currently free. We may add optional paid placements or boost features in the future, which will be clearly disclosed before launch.
We conduct periodic spot checks, but owners should keep details current via their dashboard. Edits you make are typically reflected shortly after submission.
Use the “Contact” page to tell us the venue URL and the issue, or use any “Suggest an edit” link shown on a listing. Including screenshots and the correct details helps us resolve it faster.
